Become a Dealer or Distributor
Shaktiwan Agro sells through people who know their farmers. If you run an agri-input shop, or you handle distribution across a district, we would like to talk. Send an enquiry below and our trade team will call you back.
Why stock Shaktiwan
Four reasons the range earns its shelf space
A counter does not need more brands. It needs a range that covers a whole season, and a company that answers the phone when a farmer complains.
One complete catalogue
Insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, micronutrients, growth regulators, bio-organics and seed — 91 products from a single house, so a farmer finishes his season at your counter.
Agronomy support in the field
Our field team visits farmers with you, looks at the crop and recommends from the label. Advice is given where the problem is, not over a counter.
Display and demo material
Product leaflets, shop branding and crop demonstration plots, planned with you ahead of the season and subject to what is available at the time.
Dependable supply
We manufacture in-house at Chiraigaon. Orders are dispatched from our own works, so what we confirm is what we can make.
For retailers
Become a Dealer
A Shaktiwan dealership suits an established agri-input retailer serving a cluster of villages or a block — someone who already sells seed, fertiliser or crop protection and is trusted locally.
What you need to be considered
- Licence
- A valid insecticide and, where applicable, seed and fertiliser retail licence in your own name or in the name of your firm. We supply only against valid licences.
- Premises
- A shop with a lockable, dry storage space or godown, kept separate from food and feed, as the rules require.
- Service area
- A defined set of villages or a block that you already serve. Tell us which, and we will check whether it is open.
- Field working
- Willingness to go to farmers’ fields with our team for demonstrations, farmer meetings and complaint follow-up.
- Record keeping
- Proper stock and sales records, GST registration, and the batch traceability that regulated inputs require.
Please note. Commercial terms — margin, credit, minimum order and any security requirement — are discussed case by case and are confirmed directly with the Company. They are not published on this website.
For the trade
Become a Distributor
Distribution is territory-level work: holding stock for a district or region, appointing and servicing retailers under you, and building demand with our field team. It suits an established trade house with warehousing and a working sales team.
What a territory needs
- Licence
- Valid wholesale licences for insecticides and, where relevant, seed and fertiliser, plus GST registration in the territory.
- Warehouse
- Owned or leased godown space suitable for regulated agri-inputs, with safe handling and separation from food and feed.
- Retail reach
- An existing working relationship with retailers across the district you are proposing, and the staff to service them through the season.
- Field team
- At least one person who can be in fields with our agronomy team for demonstrations and farmer meetings.
- Track record
- Experience in the agri-input trade and clean references from the principals you already represent.
Please note. Which territories are currently open changes through the year. We do not publish a territory list; availability is confirmed directly with the Company when you enquire.
The process
How an appointment works
Five straightforward steps. How long each one takes depends on your territory and the season, and our team will tell you where you stand at every stage.
Your enquiry
You send the form above, or call the works. We note your firm, licence position and the area you propose to cover, and check it against what is open.
Field visit and discussion
Our area representative meets you at your shop or godown, sees the market for himself, and talks through the range, the season ahead and what support you would get.
Documentation
Licence copies, GST details, firm particulars and references are collected and verified. Commercial terms are agreed in writing at this stage.
First supply
An opening order is planned around the crops and the coming season for your area, and dispatched from the Chiraigaon works with product leaflets.
Joint demand generation
From then on it is shared work — farmer meetings, demonstration plots, and our agronomy team in the field with you when a crop problem needs answering.
What we do not publish. Margins, credit terms, security deposits, minimum order values and the current list of open territories are commercial matters. They are discussed and confirmed directly with the Company, in writing, for each appointment. Any figure you see quoted elsewhere is not ours.
Questions
Before you enquire
Yes. Insecticides, and in most states seed and fertiliser, can only be sold against a valid licence, and we supply only against one. If your application is still in process, tell us on the form — we can talk while it is pending, but supply begins after the licence is issued.
It changes through the year, and it depends on who is already appointed near you. We do not publish a territory list. Send your district and the villages or blocks you serve, and our trade team will tell you plainly whether that area is open.
Agronomy support in the field from our team, product leaflets with every pack, farmer meetings and demonstration plots planned with you, and shop display material subject to availability. We do not promise round-the-clock service. Our office hours are Monday to Saturday, 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.
Opening and repeat order sizes are agreed at the time of appointment and depend on your territory, the crops in it and the season. We do not publish a figure here because it would be wrong for most applicants. Ask our team and you will get a specific answer.
It depends on the field visit, your documentation and the season — sowing time is busy for everyone. We will not give you a date we cannot keep. What we will do is tell you at each of the five stages above exactly where your file stands.
